D&D Note (3.14.2018) ~ Kudlow Accepts NEC Director Job ~

Larry Kudlow was named the new NEC Director today which was largely seen by the markets as a positive thing by having another free trade voice in the White House. D&D also sees this a major positive for the US economy and stock market. Larry as known as saying “Profits are the mother’s milk of the stock market.” This follows yesterdays news that Rex Tillerson was fired via a phone call from Airforce One.

Boeing fell further today on China fallout fears, the stock accounted for around 1/3 of the DOW’s losses today. When the Kudlow news came out the stock did stop falling and recovered some on the day.

Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes was called a fraud by the SEC. She settled her lawsuit with a $500k fine and was barred from being an officer or director of a public company for 10 years.

Crypto continues to be under pressure after Google announced they would ban ads for crypto and ICO’s.

Chinese stocks rally with BABA finishing up 2.20% and TCEHY up 1.42% on the day.

2747 is 50 day moving average on S&P and need to hold that level or the market will try to test the 200 day moving average.
