D&D Note (4.25.2018) ~ Choppy Trading Leaves Markets Flat ~
Markets had choppy trading today flirting with negative and positive territory throughout the day. The DOW finished up on the session gaining 0.24% with help from Boeing. The NASDAQ fell -0.05% to be rather UNCH and the S&P 500 rose 0.18%.
Boeing (BA) beats on earnings and shares surge 4.19%.
Facebook (FB) beats on earnings after the bell and shares rise 4%. The company announced $9B buyback plan and 1.45B daily active users.
U.S. Treasury yields continue to climb with the 10YR yield now at 3.028%.
Metals fell on the day with Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Copper all in the red.
Oil gained a bid moving back towards $68 a barrel helping the Energy sector finish up 0.81%.
Crypto gave back some of the recent gains today with Bitcoin falling below $9,000 and Ethereum falling below $700.
